The first Open Mic of 2012 will be held this Sunday, 8th January, at about 7.45pm in the usual veue, Johnstons Hall Kinvara, beside the Merriman Hotel. We’ll also have a special guest performing for us tonight, so don’t miss it!

NEWS! NEWS! The Open Mic are holding a concert on SATURDAY MAY 21st at 8pm in the Kinvara Community Centre. This will be a full two hour show with a great variety of acts so don’t miss it! ( All proceeds go to help needy schools in Ghana, which will be visited by some of the Open Mic members a part of a school trip)

After the cancellation of last week, we hope that everyone will make the effort to turn up for tonights (Sunday 12 Dec) Open Mic. See y’all there!
While we’re talking lost items, before the Open Mic disbanded for the summer, a DI box and an instrument cable went missing from the lock-up. If anyone knows of it’s whereabouts could they please bring it to the next Open Mic? The DI box in particular cost us money and we want to see it back as soon as is possible.
After the clean-up on Sunday night , a brass door key, with a NUIG key tag, was found. If needed urgently, text 087 9674496 or email the Open Mic here. Otherwise I’ll bring it to the next Open Mic.
